What TimberClear is

TimberClear is a directory and information resource. We list timber buyers, forestry consultants, loggers, and mills, and we publish educational content and tools for landowners. We are not a party to any transaction between a landowner and a listed business, we do not act as anyone's agent or broker, and we make no guarantee about any listed business's performance, pricing, licensing, or insurance.

Directory information

Listing information is compiled from public sources and from businesses themselves. We work to keep it accurate but do not warrant it. Always confirm details — including licensing and insurance — directly with any business before signing a contract or allowing work on your land. If you find an error, please tell us.

The Timber Value Calculator

The calculator produces rough, illustrative estimates from regional averages. It is not an appraisal, not an offer, and not financial advice. Actual timber value varies widely with species, quality, access, markets, and timing. The only reliable way to value standing timber is a professional timber cruise.

Paid listings

Businesses may pay for listing verification and for premium placement. Paid placement is labeled on the site. Verification means we confirmed the business's contact details and its presence in the public source records we use; it is not an endorsement or a guarantee of workmanship.

Acceptable use

Don't scrape, republish, or resell the directory; don't submit false information; don't use the site to spam listed businesses or landowners.

Liability

The site is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, TimberClear is not liable for any loss arising from use of the site, reliance on directory information or calculator estimates, or dealings with any listed business.

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this page with the date above.
