Nine hardwood species are bought at the gate, then graded and sorted by species for resale to mills, with a premium paid for white oak veneer logs. That makes it a fit for a landowner who already has a logger on the tract, or for a small operator selling loads directly. The yard is open Monday through Thursday 8 to 5 and Friday until 3, and its site has been running since at least December 2018.
