The rig is a Wood-Mizer LT70 hydraulic portable sawmill with a 62-horsepower CAT engine, 25 feet long by 8 feet wide, taking logs up to 20 feet long and 36 inches in diameter. It goes to the log rather than the log coming to the mill, and it also dries lumber. Pricing is published rather than quoted: $130 an hour for milling plus a $40 blade-break fee, with more possible for long distances.
